What is the 2026 HASTUS Conference?

The 2026 HASTUS Conference in San Diego brings together GIRO's clients to exchange fresh ideas and expertise on US transit challenges. Our goals are to present new HASTUS features and get feedback, maintain the sense of community among HASTUS users, exchange knowledge and expertise, and help our clients get the most out of our solutions. The event is held in English.

The event is for anyone from organizations that use GIRO’s HASTUS software to plan, schedule, and operate their services. Invitations are sent to organizations for this event, as a result it is invite-only. Please contact us at hastus.ug@giro.ca for more information about receiving an invitation for your organization.

Registration remains open until all places are filled. Please register early to ensure you’ll be able to take part.

You’ll receive a confirmation email once you’ve registered. If you don’t receive your confirmation email, please check your spam folder, then get in touch with us at hastus.ug@giro.ca.

Your confirmation email will include a link for you to view or modify your registration. Please use this link to choose your sessions once they’re available online.

Yes, you can change your choice of sessions at any time, as long as there is a place available. You’ll find a link in your confirmation email that you can use to view or modify your registration.

Although it’s possible that two sessions that you’d like to attend might be scheduled at the same time, we’ve done our best to ensure that sessions that would appeal to the same audience are scheduled separately, to give you the best chance of following the topics you find most interesting.

Yes, you can cancel your registration by using the link in your confirmation email that lets you view or modify your registration. You may cancel your registration until August 20, 2026. If cancellation is received after this date, a $300 USD service fee will apply. Refunds will not be issued on cancellations received after October 8. If you cancel later or do not attend, you will be charged the full registration fee.

Yes, you can change the information that you gave us on your registration form by using the link in your confirmation email that lets you view or modify your registration.

The cost to register for the HASTUS Conference depends on when you register. Here are the rates:

• Until August 20: $1,350 USD
• Until October 8: $1,450 USD
• Until November 10: $1,650 USD

Consultants may request to register starting August 21.

The registration fee includes your attendance at the HASTUS Conference, lunches Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and all networking activities.

You’ll find a box to enter your promo code when you register online.

Topics discussed will include HASTUS algorithms and AI; evolving technologies and modern deployments; crew scheduling; workforce management; planning tools; managing fleets and optimizing depots; and more.

We are finalizing the list of presenters. We’ll share the information as soon as it’s available.

At the HASTUS Conference,  every moment is an opportunity to connect — with your peers, with GIRO experts, and with the HASTUS community. Through in‑depth conversations during breaks, live demos, and more, the event is designed to foster meaningful exchanges of expertise and help discover new ways to optimize your operations, together.

The networking app will enable you to communicate with other attendees and exchange contact details. Watch for more information when the app becomes available.

The 2026 HASTUS Conference in San Diego is held at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.

Now that the program is available, take some time to review the sessions and identify those most relevant to your interests. While most sessions don’t require advance booking, some may have limited capacity, so you may want to reserve your seat when available.
