The 2026 HASTUS Conference in Montréal brings together HASTUS clients from around the world. Our goals are to present new HASTUS features and get feedback, exchange knowledge and expertise, and help our clients get the most out of our solutions. The event is held in English & French.

The event is intended for professionals from organizations that use GIRO’s HASTUS software to plan, schedule, and operate fixed-route public transit services. Invitations are sent to organizations for this event as a result it is invite-only. Please contact us at hastus.ug@giro.ca for more information about receiving an invitation for your organization.

Your confirmation email will include a link for you to view or modify your registration. Please use this link to choose your sessions once they’re available online.

Yes, you can change your choice of sessions at any time, as long as there is a place available. You’ll find a link in your confirmation email that you can use to view or modify your registration.

Although it’s possible that two sessions that you’d like to attend might be scheduled at the same time, we’ve done our best to ensure that sessions that would appeal to the same audience are scheduled separately, to give you the best chance of following the topics you find most interesting.

Yes, you can cancel your registration by using the link in your confirmation email that lets you view or modify your registration. You may cancel your registration until July 30, 2026. If cancellation is received after this date, a $300 CAD service fee will apply. Refunds will not be issued on cancellations received after September 24. If you cancel later or do not attend, you will be charged the full registration fee.

Yes, you can change the information that you gave us on your registration form by using the link in your confirmation email that lets you view or modify your registration.

The cost to register for the HASTUS Conference depends on when you register. Here are the rates:

• Until July 30: Early-bird rate - $1,750 CAD
• Until September 24: Standard rate - $1,850 CAD
• Until October 20: Last chance rate - $2,050 CAD

Consultants may request to register starting July 31. To do so, please contact hastus.ug@giro.ca.

The registration fee includes your attendance at the HASTUS Conference, lunches Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and all networking activities.

Topics discussed will include HASTUS algorithms and AI; challenges and opportunities with electric buses; scheduling and planning tools; managing fleets and optimising operations; and more.

We’re finalising the list of presenters. We’ll share the information as soon as it’s available.

At the HASTUS Conference,  every moment is an opportunity to connect — with your peers, with GIRO experts, and with the HASTUS community. Through in‑depth conversations during breaks, live demos, and more, the event is designed to foster meaningful exchanges of expertise and help discover new ways to optimize your operations, together.

The networking app will enable you to communicate with other attendees and exchange contact details. Watch for more information when the app becomes available.

The 2026 HASTUS Conference in Montréal is held at the Hyatt Place Montréal Centre-ville.

The Conference venue is also the hotel for the event. You’ll find a link to book your accommodation here.
